Opening Your CSV File in Excel

If you are running Microsoft® Office 2003, any CSV files that you download from eServicing may open in your browser rather than opening in Microsoft Excel®. If so, follow the steps below to adjust your Microsoft Office 2003 configuration.

  1. Right click on the Start button on your desktop.
  2. Select Explore.
  3. Select Tools from the Menu bar.
  4. Select Folder Options.
  5. Select the File Types tab.
  6. Scroll down the list of Extensions/File Types and select XLS Microsoft Excel Worksheet.

  1. Click the Advanced button.

  2. Uncheck the box for Browse in same window.

  3. Click OK.
  4. Close the Folder Options window.
  5. Close any open Internet browsers and then open a new Internet browser session.
