Syed Hyat is a Principal in Multifamily’s Northeast Credit Region, with market expertise in Washington, DC, New York City, and Boston. In addition, Syed manages multiple platform-wide policy/governance objectives, which involves regular interaction with Fannie Mae’s regulator, the Federal Housing Finance Agency.
Prior to joining Fannie Mae, Syed spent five years in debt and equity production at Northwestern Mutual Real Estate.
Syed holds a Masters in Real Estate Finance & Investments from the SC Johnson College of Business at Cornell University and a Bachelors in Economics & Mathematics from Boston University.
