Welcome New Members to the DUS Legal Advisory Council

We're excited to share updates about the DUS Legal Advisory Council, a vital forum and resource for exchanging ideas and providing feedback on multifamily legal matters.

We thank Sameer Uphadya (Miles Stockbridge), Dameon Rivers (Troutman), and Marion May (M&T) for their tremendous contributions and welcome the newest members: Nick Pirulli (Robinson & Cole), Kim Fross (Jones, Ackerman & Corman), and Kirstin Quackenbush (Capital One).

Continuing members include Juan Pereira (Ballard Spahr), Debbie Best (Jameson Pepple Cantu), and Erin Ashby (PGIM), along with Miriam and Deb—thank you all for your commitment!

In 2025, with the Council’s collaboration, we refreshed key loan documents, published updated guidance, hosted successful Legal Issues Forum meetings, and enhanced resources like the LIF Portal.

Looking ahead, the Council will continue to:

Share feedback on draft documents and guidance
Identify areas needing clarity or best practices
Discuss common deal issues and propose LIF topics
Collaborate on resources for lender counsel
