Chuck Walker

Chuck Walker currently serves as Fannie Mae’s Multifamily Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President. He is responsible for business operations including technology strategy, data initiatives, business transformation, product management and development, and securitization initiatives. Additionally, he oversees the day-to-day operations of the division including middle office, budgeting and reporting, corporate initiatives, and strategic initiatives.
Previously, Chuck was Senior Vice President of Enterprise Strategy and was responsible for Fannie Mae’s strategy formulation and management, including developing the corporate vision and strategy, overseeing strategic planning, and driving alignment to strategy across the enterprise.
Before this, Chuck was Vice President of Single-Family Digital Alliances and Product Distribution where he managed the digital ecosystem supporting the Single-Family Mortgage Business and was responsible for partnerships with technology providers, customer facing technology sales support, as well as integration and testing support for customers and partners. Additionally, Chuck led strategic change initiatives across the enterprise as Vice President of Transformation.
Prior to joining Fannie Mae in 2016, Chuck was a consultant with McKinsey & Company, where he worked with North American clients in the financial services industry on customer experience and operational excellence. Prior to McKinsey, he was a nuclear submarine officer in the U.S. Navy.
Chuck has a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, a Master of Engineering Management from Old Dominion University, and has completed the Executive Development Program from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
