Christopher Milano is the Chief Credit Officer and Senior Vice President for Fannie Mae’s Multifamily Business, reporting to the Multifamily Executive Vice President, Michele Evans. He is responsible for leading and advancing our Portfolio Risk Management function. His organization oversees managing the growing portfolio, oversight of counterparties, risk limits, monitoring trends, and remediation activities.

Christopher comes to us from Capital One, where he served in various roles. Most recently, as Head of the Commercial Real Estate Underwriting and Portfolio Management group, Christopher oversaw a diverse origination platform and loan portfolio.  As Senior Credit Officer, he was responsible for many segments of commercial real estate including Multifamily, Industrial, Retail, Office, Hotel, Student Housing, Bridge, and Agency lending. He also led Asset Management for the Commercial Real Estate group, Loss Metrics, and Executive Reporting for the Credit Risk & Analytics team. Prior to joining Capital One, Christopher worked in Enterprise Risk Services at Moody’s Corporation as well as various positions at Bear Stearns and Prudential Equity Group.

Christopher has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Franklin and Marshall College, and a Master of Business Administration from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
