Caitlin Myhre is Vice President of Product Innovation, reporting to Chris Flynn, Multifamily Chief Customer Officer. Caitlin leads the Multifamily Innovation Team driving loan product innovation and advancing strategies that support affordable rental housing and market stability. Caitlin brings nearly 20 years of experience across structured finance, risk management, and product innovation to Fannie Mae.
Previously, Caitlin served as Vice President of Underwriting & Credit at Freddie Mac Multifamily. There, she led teams across structured products, credit policy, investor due diligence, and appraisal-guiding over $15 billion in transaction volume and helping shape enterprise-wide strategic initiatives to preserve and grow affordable housing supply. Caitlin also built and scaled credit frameworks at Redwood Trust for multifamily and single-family rental investments and worked on CMBS asset management during the post-crisis recovery at Wells Fargo Securities.
